   Been trying to get to this spot for a long time….reservations are hard to come by….but the food is amazing….small portions but delicious nonetheless the less….the ambiance is unbelievable as Tobias has many African pictures and artwork placed throughout the restaurant….beautiful visually ….gives a real home grown vibe….parking is a lil rough but it is def worth is for sure…..9/10

   I visit this establishment today for my birthday with my girlfriends and I must say we had an absolute fabulous time. This was all of our first time visiting this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the deep fried double eggs as an appetizer, a must try. For the entrée I ordered the Chesapeake, which was seafood and grits again another must try. There was a hiccup with my food, taking longer than everyone else else’s and considering it was my birthday not only were they apologetic, but they also gave me a drink on the house. Chef Tobias came out greeted us. Apologize for the wait and set for a photo opp. It was a great experience.

   Everything we ate was delicious. From the chick fried deviled egg to the preparation of my dragonfruit margarita. Everything was delicious.

   First time trying brunch at 1123 and it is soooo delicious! Great ambiance and super spacious. The dragonfruit margarita was my absolute fave. We ordered sweet potato pancakes and the churro waffle and chicken, and everything was really good! I’d definitely recommend.

   Really disappointed with the food. It was over salted and we let the wait staff know...... Disappointing, since this was my first time trying this place and had high hopes, even though my experience at HH was very similar.

   Great customer service. Keyana was excellent. And the food came out in a timely manner and was delicious.

   I had been dying to come try 1123 since it opened. I came for brunch. The Service and food was super slow, we were informed it would be when we sat down so not a problem. I think the issue arouse when the server didn’t put in my full order and told me it would be 25 minutes until the other half of my order came which was unfortunate. I had had hot chicken & no waffle. $89 for a split app, cocktail, chicken, no waffle, is super pricey honestly. Especially when the service was slow. On a positive note the crab avocado smashed croissant was delicious. Try it.

    I took my boyfriend here for date night and we loved it. We were late for our reservation so we were so nervous but the staff was super accommodating. Let’s start with the fact that the head chef actually works in the restaurant and not in a behind the scenes way either. This man interacts with his customers and makes sure everyone is comfortable. That is rare to see in restaurants these days. The ambiance is 10/10. There are beautiful sculptures everywhere so plenty of places for photo opps. The staff was super friendly. Our waitresses name was Quiana and she gave amazing recommendations that me and my man loved. I had the dragonfruit margarita which was amazing. We had the chicken fried devil eggs and crab fries for our appetizers. I had the lobster jellof and he had the ramen. He loved it and the lobster was well seasoned. We will definitely be back for brunch soon. If you’re looking for good food, good music, and a good time. Definitely stop by. You won’t regret it I promise you.
