El R&D es un restaurante informal de estilo urbano ubicado en el centro del emblemático barrio chino de Toronto. Está dirigido por Eric Chong, ganador del primer MasterChef Canadá, y su mentor y dueño Alvin Leung, galardonado con una estrella Michelin. El R&D cuenta con interiores elegantes y rebosantes de energía que ofrecen un ambiente íntimo. I've been coming to this place for years now and I am never disappointed. What I find most impressive is how the new items on the menu are so innovative and delicious. How Chef manages to keep coming up with such interesting and scrumptious new dishes is what keeps me coming back after 10 years. This time, a special mention goes out to our server Sara(h), who was delightful, knowledgeable, and perfectly present (and patient with our 11 year old dinner companion :)).

Excellent food and ambiance. Was not so loud to not be able to speak and hear each other but was also not so quiet that it felt awkward to speak.

The service was amazing! Food is consistent and spot on! this is my 3rd time going with friends. I would recommend people trying the CSB, R&D fried rice and @wok lobster

My wife and I went out with long time friends we hadn't seen in a while. This was a great venue for us to talk and try great food. Drinks were great and the food outstanding. Our server was also excellent and explained what all of the options were for apps, seconds and mains. We ordered the Peking duck 24 hours in advance, and it was well worth it! Overall, we had a great time and had an amazing experience!

Every experience is an exceptional one! Thank you to the FOH & BOH teams for creating such a memorable evening, each and every time. The food is INCREDIBLE and the service really stands out. The whole team really works together to create such a lovely evening. Thank you to Kyle & all the other FOH staff. We will definitely be back! (Highly recommend the squid & foie gras)
