We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

Primo Aperitivo Hour will be taking place every day from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm in the Primo Bar starting April 26th. During Aperitivo Hour, the Primo Bar area will be open before the restaurant opens for guests looking to enjoy a happy hour at the hotel before dinner. Featured menu items during Primo Aperitivo Hour are the below... Signature spritz cocktails: • Tyrian Spritz (Purple drink in photos) • Sogni D’Oro (Yellow drink in photos) • Sirocco Spritz (Red drink in photos) We also are featuring a non-alcoholic Ume Spritz (Aplós Calme, Ume Plum, Oroblanco Grapefruit, White Tea, Sea Buckthorn). The flight will be our G+T Experience (Small flight in photos), where guests will be able to craft their own gin & tonic from a selection of gin, tonics and mixers. The gins are Malfy Originale, Malfy Limon, and Malfy Arancia; the tonics are Fever Tree Premium Tonic, Fever Tree Lemon Tonic, and Fever Tree Rhubarb + Raspberry Tonic. The herbs will be based on seasonality and picked fresh in our Primo Garden.

Place for families: parents for glass of wine and kids for pizza We went there as couples with no kids and for a nice quite upscale dinner in an authentic Italian dish. We received none. Underwhelming, unimpressed, and disappointed just few to describe the experience. We were deceived by the positive reviews, from false advertisement and from throwing the word “Michelin” in relation to this restaurant. Reading the bio of the chef Melissa Kelly. I would like to inform her…. You need to go and see the establishment you started….. you be the judge. So, forget what the advertisement says, here is what you will get: (May be this is the right place for you and for your family and your kids): Very busy and very loud place. You come with shorts and slippers/saddles. You do not have to take a shower after the day long in the pool before you eat there. All your young friends will be there. Expect a very slow service. Don’t expect much knowledge from servants. Except a very friendly and smiley staff. Expect to pay more for what you get just for eating at the JW. Do not expect an authentic Italian dishes…. Just the names… not the taste nor the preparation. It is very busy place so expect that your sever will forget your dish on the counter and once you get it, it will be warm not hot. In summary, lower your expectations and don’t expect much. For couples on special date, and for foodies, this place is not for you. Rating: 3 out of 5 (being very generous as I am on vacation)

Phenomenal food and service. I wish I remembered our servers name so I could give him the proper recognition, but he did an amazing job. All the food was hot, and well seasoned. The outdoor garden was a joy to walk through. We look forward to our next visit.
