The food is fabulous, the golf course views are remarkable and the intimate outdoor patio and grand fire pit is the perfect spot to gather with friends around a roaring fire. Prairie River is a great suburban locale to gather friends to catch a game on one of the multiple screens, play a game of pool bocce ball, bags or create your own putting contest! In the summer/fall months, the fire pit and patio area showcases some of Chicago’s hottest bands with the Sounds of Summer and Fire pit Fall concert series, weekends Memorial Day through Halloween.

Great food, service, outdoor seating, live music!!! If the weather cooperates, this is the venue to visit and when the weather doesn't cooperate, service and live bands inside are great too !!! Highly recommend this spot!!

They are no longer on open table so I was very upset when I arrived and there was no reservation. Please take them off your site. Very disorganized place

My friend ordered a Jameson's and coffee. It arrived hot in a drink glass with no handle instead of a Irish coffee mug. Really?! You gotta be kidding! You couldn't even hold the glass without burning your hand. And, they don't recognize Open Table reservations. Special occasion: Rick Lindy and The Wild Ones concert.

Very comfortable, great food and excellent service. Low noise so we could all hear each other. Nice view of the golf course.

We arrived early to our reservations and they sat us down right away. It was still happy hour so we took advantage of the great deals and they were delicious. It is super family friendly and we will be coming back.

I was under the impression from the conversation during my booking that it was a nice restaurant. I took my husband there for his birthday. That restaurant was more like a bar or a pub. Very poor menu selection. I took my husband to Morton’s steak house the next night for a real dinner.

We came for Friday fish fry. Was absolutely delicious! However, it is no longer all you can eat! That is the whole reason why we come here! The waiter did not warn us of that prior to us ordering. I even mentioned that I wanted to save room for the fish. He said nothing. We are regulars there, not hotel guests and I have a full membership there.

Empty besides the bar. Quiet, with a fantastic view. Good, "home made", Italian wedding soup. Nice variety of local craft brew beers
