Enjoy the beauty of the Amalfi Coast in Italy right in Old City while dining at Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti. Whether stopping in for brunch, lunch, dinner or happy hour, you'll love the seeing Philadelphia from our 2nd story view point. Known primarily for our fresh fish and seafood, we welcome our guests to savor a menu full of delicious selections, including some favorite dishes such as our spicy fried calamari, zucchini crabcake, tagliatelle bolognese and our pork chop milanese.

Weekend Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 2:30pm. Enjoy our belgian waffles, avocado toast or brunch burger and pair them with our mimosa & sangria specials! Join us for happy hour Tuesday-Friday, between 4pm and 6pm.

Outdoor Dining is available on both of our patios, and during warmer weather on our sidewalk cafe!

I got the Cioppino dish with shrimp and muscles over gnocchi. There was very little protein and mostly gnocchi. Great taste, but should have had more than 3 shrimp, 10 mussels and ? octopus on top. I left hungry. The salmon, and scallop dishes were excellent, as well as the grilled octopus. Our lemon and raspberry sorbet were good. Will likely return but NOT get the Cioppino.

                                                                                                              When you first arrive, you walk through the bar. I was afraid we were going to be seated near the bar which was rather loud. Thankfully, we were seated in the back, where the walls opened up so that we could enjoy our dinner al fresco. It was a lovely night, if not a little warm. But we enjoyed the open air. We shared the arrancini appetizer and found them small but flavorful. The drinks were overpriced so we passed. The bread basket was okay but I always appreciate a little more variety. I had the grilled salmon which came with broccoli and could have really used a second side, like risotto or a potato of some kind for $27. My date ordered the orrichette with sausage, which was covered in a green sauce which didn't look appetizing quite frankly and it was just okay. It's weird when sausage is green. Overall, the service was very attentive and the ambience was nice but we likely wouldn't return because the food just wasn't really special in any way. Which is surprising, because we used to love all of the Lamberti restaurants.

                                                                                                              As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and sat immediately. Service was amicable and course timing was expedient yet appropriate. I did find the pasta with shrimp and lobster cream dish to be 50/50. The overall experience here is always fun for us and I’m glad our table of 3 chose to be here again for a holiday.

Having a family member born in Positano, we can appreciate how this food was prepared and the atmosphere that was created to capture the essence of dining along the Amalfi coastline. Ciao!
