The noise level at Porter's was horrible. We were a table of 4 and could not hear each other. They need to invest in some acoustic solutions. Service was also very poor. The food was good, but was overshadowed by the noise and slow service.

One of our favorite places for lunch when we can sit on the porch. We love the casual, laid back atmosphere of Bellport and Porters fits in perfectly.

The service was fast and efficient. We sat outside so the noise was minimal except for the occasional passing motorcycle. The food was excellent and would definitely go back.

Our lobster rolls were fantastic! We had one without a bun because of gluten allergies and the presentation was lovely. With dill Mayo on the side. Lots of delicious lobster. Our server was top notch. When the ladies room had a line the hostess made the men’s room available to us. Very accommodating! The music was a bit too loud, but we got used to it. We will definitely go again and bring our friends. All of the servers, hostesses and bartenders were very approachable and welcoming!

Porter is a welcoming restaurant and was a perfect choice for me to take my niece before she was on the wardrobe staff for The Gateway Theatre. The lobster bisque was the best, I’ve had in years.

Our experience was not great! The restaurant itself is entirely too loud and we could barely have a conversation. However the service was painfully slow. There seemed to be only one waitress working the room. Claiming a large party in the back was slowing the kitchen down. That is not my problem especially when paying $500+ for dinner. We won’t be back!

Nice summer night experience dining on the porch. The service was a little slow but ok. The food was mid - not bad but not good by NY standards. In NY, good is the standard. Wedge salad was very good and dressing was flavorful. Brie arugula salad nothing special. The peaches were canned and that was disappointing. Strip steak was cooked medium and not the med rare I asked for. You needed the extra side peppercorn to give it flavor. Truffle mashed potatoes had no hint of truffle and were overall bland. I think as I write this I’ve decided this was a one time visit.
