   The happy hour margarita in Moscow mule were perfect on a hot day. The ceviche is always a winner as are the pretzel bites!

   I was looking for a place to eat after arriving home on a flight from LAX and was thrilled to be reminded of this spot by the OpenTable mobile app. The restaurant focuses on seafood and, while we dined there on a Monday, we abandoned conventional wisdom that you shouldn't have seafood on that day of the week. It worked out just fine. We started with fresh raw oysters to totally fly in the face of that rule, and we enjoyed them immensely. We also shared the Connecticut Crab Roll with drawn butter and Crispy Rock Shrimp Balls. We each indulged in a Crab Claw "Pop", and for something with some greens shared the Seafood Louis Salad, which was simply amazing--the house dressing was light, vibrant and tasty. To seal the deal, we finished with some freshly-fried cake doughnuts. Playa Provisions is now my go-to choice for drinking and dining near LAX, any time of day.

   Great happy hour menu as well as very good dinner choices! Great waiter, great recommendations! Wine list was quite good and the service was wonderful!

   Stumbled onto this place via Yelp but quickly recognized the name from Top Chef and confirmed it was indeed Brooke's restaurant. Immediately I figured 'Top Chef, expensive, too nice, probably not good for kids..." but that is wrong on all accounts. Love the concept and think it is very fitting of the location because it's perfect for a good meal by the beach, or just a cocktail at the bar by the beach or to walk in for ice cream by the beach. It is unusual to do more than one thing well but these all blend together seamlessly. Moral of the story - go and enjoy, it won't break the bank and you can wear shorts and even bring your kids in with sandy feet.

   Great food! Went with a foodie-friend for an early dinner. The crab claw pops were delicious! The lobster roll was really good, as well. We also had their blueberry hand pie ice cream cookie...so good! You won't be disappointed!

   Always enjoy our meals here. It is busy, loud and crowded...so not primo for a romantic dinner. But the food is top notch.

   Delicious as always. Yummy cocktails. Great server... I wish I could remember his name! Only downside was the noise level. So loud I could hardly hear the person I was with across 2 foot table!

    awesome experience. Great vibe. Our group basically shared everything! We tried some small plates- pretzel buns and sweet potato bites. Both stellar! Main dishes with sides - cauliflower (super tender) could have used a bit more roasting) wonderful pea sauce - Fish and chips - really yummy, salt and pepper calamari with shrimp, clams - good but missing the taste of salt and pepper. would like them to have more punch of flavor but very generous serving - Tostones and potatoes - super yummy! Patty melt - our least favorite. just kind of boring and tasteless. Great drink selection and appreciated the wonderful non alcohol options as well. We loved sitting outside and the mexican blankets. Felt as close to the beach without sitting on the beach! Definatly would recommend to a friend and will return.
