Not a good dining experience. We ordered appetizers, soup and entrees and all three courses came at the same time. Food was mediocre at best. And nobody seemed to be in charge. We sat for quite some time just waiting for our bill. Didn’t come, do we had to get up and walk to the exit area in order to find someone to give us our bill. Very disappointing. We will not return.

Sea bass was overcooked and desserts were not exciting. The steaks and sides were amazing. Good value on wines. Great ambiance with open space inside and outside.

I brought my best friend to the resort for a spa day and had an early lunch at Piedmont. I’m really glad that lunch was no indicator or the spa experience. Our service was nice, but very scattered yet we were the only table for quite some time. Perhaps he was new, although he was knowledgeable. Thankfully his service was the only thing good enough that the experience wasn’t entirely ruined because our food was really terrible. The wine chiller was broken so our bottle of sparkling Rose was nearly room temperature. We had the hummus for a starter which came with quite a bit of naan bread which was good but only 3 small pieces of carrots and celery. The salad I ordered was a complete waste of money. The lettuce used was made of all the pieces you would normally get rid of, big chunks that were nearly white, nothing leafy or green whatsoever. The chicken that I added tasted like it was cooked a week ago and slightly re-warmed in a microwave. Rubbery, dry, nasty. My friends salad was okay-ish, also it looked like a child made the salad…including a spring mix that probably should have been in the trash because it was limp, with moist brown areas, and really not something you would expect for a $25 salad; nor was mine. We won’t bother ever going back because it was a huge let-down. I would be pressed to recommend even if you’re absolutely starving and there are no other options.

There is a bar side and the private dining side. We sat on the private dining side and it was a very basic decorated dining area. The food tasted and was presented like what you would get at a wedding (not in a good way). For the price and it being a fine dining location we just expected better.

The food was great. The views are outstanding. The service could have been better. There were three tables and we had to wait long periods of time for items. Desert came well one did and no fork or spoon. had to flag down a waiter/Manger to get one. Over all good but Service needs to be improved.

My wife and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at Landsdowne Resort this past weekend. We had an amazing dinner at the Crooked Billet. First, the atmosphere and view are so cozy and romantic with views of the golf course, warm decor, and a beautiful fireplace. Secondly, the food was out of this world! Everything was filled with flavor and expertly prepared! We had Kirby as our waiter. He was outstanding! Overall, we had one of the best meals in our lives as can't wait to come back!

This could be good for a family, a couple, or as we saw a few tables away, a girl's night out. The menu is versatile, with lighter and heavier dishes as well. Reasonably priced and amazing desserts. Very well priced wine list. The service was nice and the carpeted floors helped to silence any extra noise.
