   We had loved going to this restaurant in past years. But yesterday was not the same. We had arrived early asked for a table outside. The table did not have any umbrella from the afternoon sun like the others. We were able to get a lovely table inside, looking across at the beautiful view. The food was delicious. But my lobster bisque bowl which I had put to one side remained on the table until we left, it was empty. The waitress we had was very sweet making the comment that yes she had served us in the bar area and was also going to be our waitress. We had been told by the hostess it was someone else. They had three girls at the front desk who I thought looked to too young to be hostess. I would try and go again but only in the evening.

   Great location and very nice menu. We were celebrating several occasions on this day. Our server clearly did not want to be there (Julia). Was very disappointed. After our meal and already paid said “if you have time I can get u a dessert for your birthday if you want 🤦🏻‍♀️

   The service was ok , but not great . The food was awful. Caesar salad was edible , lobster bisque was not the best but not the worst , squid ink pasta with shrimp and scallops was inedible ( no flavor ) the halibut was the best thing that we had and the side of potatoes was cold.

   We were there to celebrate our 50th yr anniversary with our children & grand-daughter. Our server David was fantastic! We had the best table in the patio. The weather breeze was beautiful. We had a Skyline view. The food was awesome! Highly recommend this place.

   I've been coming to Peohe's for years not necessarily for the food, but for the ambiance. We had family from out of town and thought this was a pretty restaurant to take them to. We had reservations at 7:15pm and when I checked-in, the hostess said it would be about 10 minutes. This was a Tuesday evening so I didn't think it would be crowded or busy- it wasn't! We weren't seated until after 7:40pm! Our server, Michael, was great. He explained menu items, made suggestions, etc. He kept telling us he'd be back in 2 seconds. Of course it was never just 2 seconds and he always forgot things like lemon, our bread. We finally placed our orders at 8:10pm and didn't get served until almost 9pm. By that time, we had to go to our cars and pay for parking since it's free for only 2 hours. The food was good, I'd give it 4 out of 5. We got prime rib, filet mignon, several sushi rolls, coconut shrimp, salad, fish and the chocolate lava cake. The drinks were okay. One person got the essence drink. I took video while Michael sprayed some sort of liquid from a beautiful perfume looking bottle onto her drink. When he said that was your mist, I paused and said, did I miss something? Everyone on the table laughed and said no, that was it. I looked back at my video and it was underwhelming. Looks and sounds cool on the menu though. Peohe's is a great staple in Coronado with wonderful water and downtown views, but to be honest, there are so many other great restaurants in town.

   This is a restaurant n decline. We’ve been to this restaurant countless times over the last two decades. It was our regular go-to when stationed at North Island and later when living on Coronado as civilians. We went last night and it was sad to see the decline in decor, food, presentation and service. You can’t beat the view, but otherwise it’s not worth it. There are so many better places to eat, both on and off the island. The service is exceptionally poor.

    Coco shrimp were precooked and then warmed . Food quality has gone down . Previous menus had Wok Shrimp Asian style Salmon dish was dry and unexciting Large tables usually dominated by a single loud male who clearly drunk too much made excessive noise Cooking standards need to be upgraded
