   Our pasta dishes were among the best we have ever been served. They were light and perfect in favor. The portions were quite large. The staff was polite and very attentive. It was an excellent experience.

   I finally had the chance to visit Pasta Moon in Half Moon Bay, and I can confidently say—it lived up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, I felt the cozy, coastal charm of the place. It strikes a perfect balance between upscale and welcoming. Warm lighting, rustic wood beams, and the low hum of conversation made it feel like a special night out without being stuffy. I started with the burrata with prosciutto and roasted peppers, which was fresh and creamy, paired perfectly with their house bread. For the main course, I went with the pappardelle with short rib ragu—hands down, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time. The pasta was clearly house-made, and the ragu was rich, tender, and deeply flavorful. They’ve got a solid wine list, with a lot of California options (as expected), and the staff actually knew how to suggest pairings without sounding rehearsed. I love that. Service was top-notch—attentive without hovering. And the vibe? Relaxed but still polished. Locals mixed with tourists, and everyone seemed happy to be there. Prices are on the higher end, but totally justified for the quality and atmosphere. Definitely a “treat yourself” kind of place, but not so fancy you feel like you have to dress up. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit.

   It was our anniversary and they had a card for us. Food was delicious as usual. Service and ambiance were just great. One of our favorite places to eat. Make and confirming reservations was an easy process.

   We came here for Easter brunch and it did not disappoint!!! Menu was a three course fixed price with amazing choices including options for my vegetarian husband. I had the pork tenderloin and the serving was so big I could only eat half. No problem as I will be eating it for a few more days!! So delicious. Yay! My husband had the tagliatelle with “five lilies” and it was outstanding. Service was great as always. This is by far our favorite restaurant for a reason- because the food, service, and ambiance is always a delight.

   Carlos our server and the guy who was serving bread on Easter 2025 are excellent in providing service food always exceptional and love the ambiance.

   Surprisingly, the best dish we ordered was the aged rib eye. Kids ordered Lasagna & Papardelle. I ordered Spaghetti puttanesca w/ seafood. We sat in nice corner booth surrounded by windows. Great ambience.

    Great service with friendly servers & staff. Pappardelle w/mushroom. pasta was delicious but the roast chicken was dried out & soggy potatoes / zucchini. An established 30 year restaurant should not have a problem with something as simple as chicken. Told our waiter.
