Park Tavern Neighborhood Bar & Brewery is located in the heart of midtown on the corner of 10th St. & Monroe overlooking Piedmont Park and the midtown skyline. Park Tavern rejuvenated its restaurant and menu for the 2019 summer season. Our building was originally built in 1905 as horse stables for local racing enthusiasts and then transformed into a golf clubhouse in 1928. Although expanded and renovated over the years, the building still features some of the original woodwork and stone from the historic clubhouse. Today Park Tavern combines the historic charm of the site with the modern sophistication of Atlanta’s impressive skyline. The restaurant features handcrafted beers brewed on-site as well as spectacular patio dining overlooking the park and city. The menu features classic favorites such as burgers, salads, and sandwiches.
CURRENTLY WE ARE FAST CASUAL WITH NO TABLE SERVICE.

    Park Tavern offers four private dining areas perfect for all types of special occasions including holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, and corporate functions. Park Tavern Covid-19 Safety Protocol: Our top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic is to keep our guests and staff healthy. We are following the CDC-issued guidelines related to food service during this time and have also implemented additional precautions to keep our venue as safe as possible. In addition to the daily sanitizing of our kitchen, we have increased the frequency of disinfecting floors, surfaces, restrooms, and kitchen areas throughout the day. While it is not required to have even one ServSafe certified employee, we have 18 certified employees including the entire management team to ensure vigilance in proper food handling. Additionally, our event team is also trained in personal cleanliness and handwashing; and has also been instructed to not come to work with even the slightest of symptoms.

                                                      It was not at all what we expected. Not really a dining experience as much as a cafeteria-style meal. We had to go the bar and order, then we had to wait for our meal to be ready, we were texted it was ready and then we had to pick up at another bar. As soon as we got there - we were told the bar was closing and we would have to go to the other side to order if we needed anything else. We did. So we ordered from the other side and then had to pick up our food in to go bags to eat in the dining room? No soda refills so we had to pay twice for drinks and of course, we had to to the other side to order and pick up. No servers (although at the table next to us a whole crew of servers were sitting and talking). Very loud. Overall a very frustrating experience. It is a shame to see the Park Tavern become a commoditized place. We will not be back.

                                                      We have completely changed our model. We no longer have servers, we are encapsulating our bartenders behind plexiglass shields and making all our staff wear masks 100% of the time. We make every guest wear a mask upon entering and standing in line. We stop people from coming into our facility once we hit established current governmental-standard capacity limits. Our food selections have been cut in half. We have focused on preparedness and coming packaged in recycled/recyclable materials.

                                                      Was great for a casual place to grab a bite. However, was disturbed that so many people were without masks and no enforcement of it walking around or getting service from bar.

                                                      Too many people not wearing mask. Counter Service needs improvement. Several employees sitting around on computers and phones, not doing much and not engaging with customers. I’d rather pick up food elsewhere, and sit in the park. It was disappointing for a date.
