Ox is now open for both indoor and outdoor patio seating, seven days per week.

Please note, the weather is out of our control, and therefore with any outdoor experience, there is always a risk of inclement weather and heat waves. As a small restaurant, we have limited ability to accommodate additional seating in the dining room. In the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate by moving your reservation inside, but we cannot guarantee seats will be available.

OX Restaurant finds inspiration in the wood-fired grilling tradition of Argentina, and with it, the culinary heritage of Spain, France and Italy.

Showcasing prime local meats and fish, OX also features seasonal produce in distinctive preparations.

OX harnesses the culinary talent of Portland chefs Greg Denton and Gabrielle Quiñónez Denton in a friendly and comfortable neighborhood restaurant with an energetic vibe and creative menu designed to appeal to the palate of the Pacific Northwest.

    The food is tremendous. Never had anything there that is now super delicious. The asparagus soup that comes out with the meal is one of the best things ever.

    The service was the best I've ever experienced. From the hostesses to the cooks to the waiter and table runners. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Their collective energy and teamwork elevated the experience. The food was great, the skirt steak was cooked perfectly but the pork chop was my favorite because of the delicate sauce on it and perfect cook. The sides were great as well. We got the potato dish, loaded with a dill sauce and the maple carrots and beets. I gave a slight ding due to the deserts. We got the first three on the menu and they weren't elevated and didn't blow us away. Everything else did though!

    We truly enjoyed our experience at Ox. Our waiter, Sean was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He took the time to explain the menu, the wine we brought, and make our experience even better. We will definitely be back.
