   The food was MUCH better than the last time we ate here when it was not just a buffet, but a menu order restaurant. We liked the buffet only choice this time as the food quality had greatly improved since the last time we ate here. Much better!

   FOOD: Pretty good. Buffet style with a good selection. ATMOSPHERE: Comfortable, clean. Feel like an enclosed patio section of a restaurant. EXPERIENCE: Very pleasant. The wait staff were attentive and courteous. LOCATION: Perfect spot to have dinner before a show at Wolftrap. A short walk and no line to enter the venue from the restaurant. SIDEBAR: It happen to be raining the night I went to Wolftrap. Ovations restaurant was the perfect spot to hangout with friends and enjoy a decent meal instead of waiting in the long line (in the rain) to enter the venue. RECOMMENDATION: A 6:30 dinner reservation is perfect time to arrive for an 8:00 showtime (if you have lawn seats and plan on having dinner at Ovations I suggest getting there earlier).

   Food was delicious. Servers Andrew and Brett were amazing. Other than the overhead fans making the room very cold I'd give this place a 10.

   Not worth the price. Food is an odd mix of two restaurants with no signature dishes. Even by buffet standards it is weak. They need to look for new vendors next season.

   The setting of Ovations is beautiful however the seating arrangements leaves a lot to be desired. The food was of good taste however I could have appreciated more selections in food choices. The ambiance of Ovations almost suggests fine dining however the bar napkins given at the table leave a lot to be desired. I really did not feel that I got the best value for the money that was spent on a dinner for four.

   this is a restaurant only for people going to a Wolf Trap concert. It is a tent with fans; ok if 70 degrees out, not the 94 it was the evening we were there. It's a buffet, and they do have a large selection, but a lot was wilted by the heat. The service is bad- took forever to get and pay our bill and barely made the concert, which is right next door! Wine selection poor-they were out of the two wines we chose, and over[priced by the glass. Bring a picnic, that's what we used to do- may go back to doing that.

   The majority of the food was over seasoned, making it difficult to enjoy. The food was not covered so after about the first 20-30 minutes flies started to settle on the food. The wait staff was slow to greet guests at the table and never returned to check on us. The only time our drinks were refreshed was when we hunted down any wait staff we could find. We had to hunt our waiter down in order to get the check at the end of the night, which then took a long time to complete.

    Ovations hit it out of the park this year. We've never been fans of Ovations in previous years, and tended to eat there only when it's raining and we can't picnic. But this year, I don't know what happened, or if there's new staff overseeing the food prep and selections, but the food has been great all summer long. Please keep up the great work for next summer's concert season!
