ONE53 is a ninety-nine seat cozy neighborhood restaurant & bar serving New American / Euro Bistro cuisine in a relaxed setting. We combine local hospitality with traditional & contemporary dishes.

Our menu features seasonally changing specials using only the best and freshest seasonal ingredients.

ONE53 features wines from the U.S. and Europe along with a full bar that offers a variety of traditional and specialty hand-crafted cocktails. We're located in Rocky Hill, just minutes from Princeton, NJ.

We've received glowing reviews from The New York Times, The Star Ledger, The Times of Trenton, and NJ Monthly. ONE53 was named 2019's Favorite Restaurant and Favorite Bar by Princeton's premier newspaper Town Topics.

    One 53 has been a favorite of ours for years, but this time was a little disappointing. The ambiance and service were excellent as always, and the cocktails delicious. The burrata appetizer was also wonderful. The main courses that we ordered needed some help. While the Mahi Mahi was cooked beautifully, it needed a relish or sauce or something with acid to brighten it up and could have used an interesting side rather than fries. The gnocchi was very oily and heavy and had an unpleasant aftertaste. Looking forward to trying again, but this time not great.

    Food and service were top notch. We always enjoy a menu that offers many items we'd want to order. Our server was terrific - friendly, professional, very knowledgeable and helpful. Our only complaint was our very small table wedged against a wall.

    Generally an excellent spot - our server that evening wasn’t particularly attentive and there were a few mix ups - that said, this is one of my favorite restaurants and I look forward to going there again.

    Management seemed distracted. Couldn't be bothered to put together two tables for us, even though it was early on a midweek night. Not what we have come to expect. We'll give it a pass in the future.

    Our dinner was delightful. The service was exemplary. We had two birthdays and they really made them feel special. My son said, "best pork chop he's ever had". Will go back again and again.

    Wow just wow. One 53 is excellent. They get everything right. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The heirloom tomatoes and pamzanela salad was full of flavor. I had one of the the specials which was a blackened Mahi Mahi and it could not have been better. My wife had the bucatini with lump crab and it was prepared with a fried lemon and r s pepper. It was so good she asked me to taste it and I ate more than she offered -she loved it too. We had desert of course and went with the gooey chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream. It was fresh, warm, gooey and well balanced with sweetness and chocolate. Of course I had to try the drinks from the bar. I had th paper plane and then an espresso martini with desert and the drinks and bar overall was top shelf. The atmosphere was great and reminiscent of a fine NYC restaurant but with valet parking and set in a quaint town setting. This one is a keeper and the clientele looked like it was their cult secret but now I know! Will be back and highly recommended.
