   Myself and 3 out of town friends had dinner at OMBRA on Sunday night. It was an absolutely first rate experience. Food was outstanding, service was very attentive and provided great insight into the offered specials that night. The setting was very comfortable.

   We made reservations as it was Easter Sunday. We were promptly greeted and seated right away. Our waitress, Jody was awesome! Great personality and we didn’t feel rushed. We ordered appetizers, the beef carpaccio and the prosciutto wrapped carpaccio. Both were over arugula and were very tasty! Our main entrees came out hot and each dish was so delicious! Would definitely return and ask for Jody! Highly recommend this restaurant coming from an Italian! :)

   Was very disappointed that there was not a veal choice on the prefix menu. I go to Ombra for the veal.

   We enjoyed Easter Sunday brunch with friends. The price fix menu was excellent with multiple great choices and a terrific value. Everyone raved about each dish and course. Service was friendly and as it was a beautiful day, we were glad we chose to dine alfresco.

   Easter brunch was excellent! Very nice menu although a little expensive. Was bummed that our leftovers never returned back to the table. Got tired of waiting and left without them but everything else was great!

   The food and the wine were beyond good! Old-school service was great, as well. Will go back in a heartbeat!

   Overall nice evening. Food well prepared, nice portion and flavorful. The wait staff once at the table was not great and the restaurant wasn’t full so not sure what was going on. Our waiter was really the one who seemed to not care about his professionalism or had a lack of knowledge when asked a question. At the table after he took an order for water and some drinks, it took him about 15 minutes until he had delivered all of the drinks. When asked if he had specials on his second visit to the table he said yes but didn’t tell us what they were. When my sister asked about a drink and what was in one he blew her off saying it was some kind of martini, no ingredients in his description, strange. Then he finally told us the specials at almost 30 min in…. Very frustrating. So food was very good, waiter was a disappointment. Will not be our first choice again any time soon as we are locals.

    We always go to Ombra when we visit Hilton Head. Great food, service and a nice ambiance. The only problem this time was the noise level. There was a table of 20 near us and they were very loud. We left early with our friends because of this. Too bad.
