   9 course omakase with wagyu was delicious!!! And we have had a lot of omakase’s all about the world. Extremely filling. Come hungry!

   Overall awful experience. First, we had a young child in our party and we were not told that they did not have a high chair or booster seat until after we were sat. We specifically asked for this upon check in. Second, there were two separate occasions that were placed food orders and the food was not delivered. Upon learning about the missed food the server basically told us it was what it was and disappeared for a long period of time. The food we did get was mediocre at best. There are many places in Boston to get better quality food for the price. Finally, the table across from us ordered a menu item that was seemingly self cooked on a table top grill. When they cooked their food the smoke it created was so copious and thick it smoked out the entire seating area we were in. As this section of the restaurant is downstairs on basement level with drop ceiling and lighting there was no ventilation to remove said smoke. It literally made our eyes water and our clothes smell of smoke. We did not have any manager interaction even though we were clearly having a less than ideal experience. Bad service, mediocre food, and overall an unpleasant atmosphere make for an an awful experience.

   This was our second time dining here and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Japanese Wagyu for an appetizer and the Omakase with wine/sake pairing. The Sashimi was super fresh and the chefs selection for the Omakase was creatively prepared with various flavors and fish. I know some viewers say it's quite expensive which it is, but well worth the price based on the quality of the fish. My favorite dishes were the Wagyu and the Salmon on Fire. If I had any negative comments it would be they don't make good mixed drinks, i guess it's not something you would order in a Japanese restaurant, not a big deal. Service could have been a bit better, but the restaurant was quite full as a result of several events going on over the weekend. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

   We had an outstanding lunch at Oishii. The sushi and appetizers were outstanding, as was the service.

   Our server was extremely attentive knowledgeable and engauging. He was eager to provide suggestions which we really enjoyed. We can't remember his name but lucky Oiishi for having him as part of their team.

   The sushi was good-expensive for what it is. Our group ordered more sushi and we were told the sushi counter was backed up and had to wait 45 minutes (it’s kind of crazy considering it’s a sushi place).
