Under the guidance of the Livanos family and Paul McLaughlin, Oceana has provided New Yorkers with an exceptional seafood destination since 1992.

Oceana delivers a fresh, seasonal, innovative and approachable seafood-forward menu, with additional offerings suitable for any palate.

Oceana has a 70 seat Cafe with a 18 seat marble bar. Great for lunch, after work cocktails & snacks, pre-theater dinner and post-theater desserts. Spring and Summer bring a 50 seat outdoor dining area, private dining options include our Chefs Table for 4, our new Chefs Counter for 6, Wine Room for 18, and our Grand Salon for 80. Full buyouts are also available.

I've been coming to this restaurant through multiple chefs and various menus and it has never disappointed. I'm so glad one of my favorite places has endured and stayed so good. The standouts at our most recent visit were actually the desserts and sides -- especially the spinach which somehow managed to taste both luxuriously rich and healthy, and the cheesecake! Thank you so much to our servers!

The only bright spot of our experience at Oceana was the Somalier and the wine. The food was poor and our server was not friendly. It was our first dinner experience in NYC, which was disappointing. Was expecting classy and fine dining but not even close.

Our party of five. Enjoyed our experience. Three had scallops and we were surprised they were only seared on one side. One had checken and the other the sheimp pasta. All were good, not great, and slightly over salted. We split the wedge salad which was nice but could have had more bacon. As sides we got the asparagus which had a strange flavor (mint?) and the “crispy” potatoes which were not crispy at all but tasted ok. Serive was A+. Would we go back? Probably not. But we left iverall fulfilled.
