Our Soho-based restaurant has some of the Ottolenghi trademarks – platters full of salads greet customers as they arrive, a menu which celebrates bold flavours – but NOPI has a very different feel to the Ottolenghi delis. The marble is white, the brass is golden, the art is dynamic, the pace is a little faster. Upstairs we offer individual dining tables accommodating up to 6 guests. Downstairs we have two large communal/chef's tables overlooking our open plan kitchen and larder. NOPI’s menu changes according to the seasons with bold flavours and colours, broadly based on Mediterranean, Middle-eastern and Asian ingredients, using lots of herbs and spices. NOPI is open for breakfast, lunch, pre-theatre, dinner, and post-theatre.

Cauliflower fritters — fantastic! Roasted aubergine, amazing. Breads and hummus side, awesome! But we felt, even at that pre-dinner hour, a bit rushed in the ordering process. With so many small plates meant to be shared it was tough to gauge how much to order. Had we not been lightly pushed (encouraged?) to order everything at once we might have had a different main and another small plate. And the food comes out very quick and at the same time — not the best idea when you’re encouraged to order 2-3 small plates per person. That said, once we had our dishes the pace slowed down dramatically and we didn’t feel too rushed to order more wine and then dessert. But it’s tough to savor Ottolenghi’s work when two people are brought 6 or 7 plates at once.

The Singapore breakfast was delicious! Seeing kaya on a menu in the UK was such a welcome delight and the meal did not disappoint!

Lovely evening meal for a 70th birthday. Food was outstanding - interesting and very delicious! Atmosphere a bit clinical (white tiles and bricks), toilets disorientating and amusing!! Presented with the latest Ottolenghi book as a birthday gift - a lovely touch.

Absolutely unbelievable food. Incredible service. We were waiting 5 minutes for our table to be ready, and for that wait we were given an extra small dish for free! Very professional, chatty and lovely staff and some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! Amazing old fashioned cocktails as well! Cannot recommend highly enough
