Nonna Silvia's is a popular neighborhood restaurant nestled between Park Ridge and Edison Park. Family owned for 22 years, Chefs Steve Marti & John Giannini have been cooking authentic, regional Italian cuisine (from central Italy) since opening the restaurant. Inspired by and named after their grandmother, Silvia Giannini, Nonna Silvia's offers homemade pastas, fresh seafood, specialty pizzas, and a choice selection of local, Midwestern meats. We feature a collection of more than 60 wines (many of our wines are award-winning, Wine Spectator rated) from all over the world as well as craft beer and signature cocktails. We were staying at a hotel in the neighborhood and chose the restaurant based on its proximity. What a great find! The food was superb, the service excellent! Every dish our party ordered was fabulous! We’ll definitely eat there next visit. Highly recommend.

I grew up in the area and finally got to the restaurant Whay tooo mound Service was spotty Food was just ok Was expecting a much better experience Also found the food was overpriced for a neighborhood place I will not return

First of all, they have the best waitstaff. Everyone of them are knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Wife had pesce piccata and I had pasta barese. Didn’t want the meals to end. Thank you once again Nonna Silvia’s for another fine dining experience.
