Discover Goldsboro
Located in Eastern North Carolina, Goldsboro is a quaint community that has some great eats, including a stellar barbecue scene just within its city limits. The staple in North Carolina is smoked pulled pork topped with a vinegary sauce and signature tang. Classic sides of baked beans, cornbread, coleslaw, and corn on the cob accompany each plate offered up to diners. Not a big barbecue fan? There are also plenty of seafood restaurants serving locally caught fish. If you want other American fare, it's also easy to snag some pizza, burgers, and chicken wings. A great find in the region is the handful of Peruvian restaurants with an encouraging dining room filled with locals.
