Northvale Restaurants

I had dinner twice and lunch once within the last 6 weeks with my wife and friends. From start to finish each time was delightful. The restaurant is in a beautiful country-like setting away from any commercialism. The staff is welcoming, very professional and attentive. The interior ambience is very lovely and a terrific setting for intimate or family get togethers. The menu is extensive and the food very good. The portions are sizable and presented beautifully. I would characterize the restaurant as continental It is definitely not like the typical red sauce Italian restaurant that dots Bergen County. On both dinner occasions my wife ordered ribeye steak. The quality and preparation was excellent and was surpassed many of the steaks gotten at so called finer steakhouses. The tempo of the service was perfect as well. We really felt well served. To top things off several bottles of complimentary after dinner liquors were brought to the table. I've recommended this restaurant to foodie friends and look forward to returning. An all around delight!

Homey, lovely, wonderful meal. I would love to revisit in the late Spring and sit on the porch with a good meal. Fresh pasta, large portions, gracious service. I'd pay the Tappan Zee toll to visit again.
