If you’re from Ottawa and you like good food then you’ve heard of Next. We’d never had the opportunity to eat there and chose to finally do it for our 36th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. As with most restaurants these days, the menu is not extensive but the options at NEXT cover a wide range of tastes and preferences and the dishes we chose were all excellent. Really creative inventive combinations of flavours and also visually well presented. Of note, the bao bun and Kapow cauliflower appetizers were memorable as were the rib-eye and short rib curry mains - amazing! Decor is pleasant and contemporary and service is solid and attentive. Barb was our server and she was excellent. We asked for her recommendations and she provided thoughtful guidance and suggestions and helped make our night a success. All in all, NEXT was everything we hoped for on our special night and we will definitely be back!

Joe’s is a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great food. Service is attentive without being too much. This is a relaxed, comfortable restaurant. I’m always tempted by the daily special but invariably choose my usual Joe Walsh Pinsa. Last night, however, I changed it up and had the Pinsa with poached pears and hot honey…another delicious Pinsa!

Delicious food, excellent service and well worth the entry cost. The Lamb was cooked to perfection and extremely tender, we'll be making this a regular celebration spot

As always our evening was perfect. Good wine selection - impeccable service - delicious meal - beautiful steak cooked exactly how we order it - all with the perfect ambience- this is our favorite go to and never disappoints
