The food was very nice, the waiter was lovely and very helpful and cary, he explained what was the difference of meat choice in the menu, we wanted to make sure about choices of halal food, we really appreciated he said he will make sure what options are the best for us, I gave feedback about the chocolate cake he nicely said he will give feedback to the chef, I felt especially it was my daughter birthday, the waiter was giving extra miles to make our night special, thank you for coming and singing happy birthday with one of your colleague very much appreciated, I don’t know his name but he speaks French and was wearing glasses.

Well paced service, enough space to be private with tables close enough to make it a friendly environment. Polite and attentive staff, who genuinely cared.

My first time celebrating a friend’s birthday at this tucked away gem. Remi (owner and chef) clearly has a real passion for creating delicious, seasonal food and interacting with guests. Service and drinks were also fab - would 💯 recommend this place for a special occasion. Will be back - with TTD Madagascan vanilla for the martinis 😉 Please support this lovely local restaurant - you won’t regret it!

Really delicious meal, excellent menu with vegetarian, meat & fish choices. Wonderful flavours, great presentation of dishes/plates … everything looks and tastes lovely. Very personable service. Great value. Tokova is consistently good, and it’s obvious it’s run with passion and care. Highly recommend.

Excellent little Tapas bar, set in the busy Tooting market. Situated on a corner, so the dining bar is on the outer edge of the two sides. Seating is on both sides of the bar, so it is easy to sit opposite one's partner, or as a group. The market is extremely busy and buzzy, so noise level is quite high. A good selection of plates, and wines. On Tuesday there are three plates for £20, which is ample per person. I would advise booking for most days of the week.
