Relaxing glass of wine in the Lounge then escorted to the dining table to enjoy a beautiful roast Lamb dinner. Eton mess seemed to be a popular dessert choice so had to experience for myself and was not disappointed. Even though the dining room was very busy the level of noise was just general chatting amongst diners and is never noisy. All generations were warmly welcomed by the Manager and waiting staff. Our starters of Chicken Liver Pate, Grilled Eel and Pork Belly Bites were incredible and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the main courses of Ribeye Steak, Beef and Marrow Bone Pie and Beef Stew and Dumplings arrived - and were rich and delicious.
