Best restaurants near me in Lakewood, CO

We celebrated our anniversary tonight at the Buckhorn Exchange in Denver and had a wonderful time. My husband had the tenderloin, small portion (which was anything but small). It was cooked exactly to his liking. I ordered my grilled salmon 'cooked no more than medium rare' and it, too was perfect. Although the salmon seemed a bit pricey at $44 one needs to consider that all of the entrees include a very nice house salad and choice of a carb (potato baked, mashed or chips or wild rice pilaf) and warm rolls. Our service (thanks Kay!) was excellent. We'll be back!

It was a solid place. Somewhere we know. Food was good, service was very good.

I wish I could remember our server's name. She was remarkable. She let us take our time with our appetizer before we ordered our meal. She didn't hover, but just seemed to know when we were ready to order our main course.
