In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May.
