The Mussel appetizer was fresh, generous and tasty. The mussels were VERY large, the broth was buttery, smooth with the right touch of white wine; the crusty dipping bread was perfect. The swordfish entree with orzo salad was delicious. Our server, Stephanie was pleasant, professional and appropriately attentive.

This was our first visit and we really loved everything about Carmine’s! Alexa, our waitress, was wonderful and the food met the hopes of all four of us (each with very discriminating palates!) From the delicious bread and dipping oil, to the arugula salad (large enough for three of us to share), to the Vongole and chicken parm and our granddaughter’s spaghetti and meatballs, everyone loved their food! We will be back!

Easter brunch was superb. The shrimp cocktail and salmon small plates were fresh and delicious. We had the breakfast sandwich custom-made with bacon instead of sausage and it was excellent. We enjoyed the filet mignon on the bed of shredded brussels sprouts and kale and bacon in this light cheese sauce, which may be one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. The sweet bread basket was incredible also. And of course, there were wonderful glasses of wine and beautiful mixed cocktails. The service was excellent as usual. Overall, a fantastic Easter brunch that was very special. Thank you very much.

This is one of my go-to spots in Newburyport. Reliably tasty. Solid sushi - my favorites are the Tenmini Roll and Rock and Roll. A couple favorite apps are the bang bang shrimp and the cauliflower.

We hadn’t been to Sea Level Newburyport for a couple of years and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the large drink selection including a full page of N/A drinks. We both ordered roasted fish entrees, which were very delicious, artful and plentiful. The food came out quickly, and our waiter was gracious and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
