   I’ve been coming many years and I’ve watched the portions shrink and the price go up. It’s been since Christmas and we decided to get lunch. Bistro burger was always my fav. $26 dollars and from Christmas to now it shrunk. No bigger than a McDonald burger. I can’t afford to spend that kind of money for that. I’ll just stay out of the quarter from here on out. For whatever reason it’s not what it once was.

   Mr. B's is a wonderful restaurant. The service is professional, very friendly and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend the seafood gumbo which is very flavorful and is made with a traditional dark roux and a rich chicken stock. The fried oysters are fresh and delicious made with a batter that is crisp and light. The grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon served over cheesy grits with redeye gravy, a signature dish is absolutely wonderful. I would never consider ordering a bone-in grilled glazed pork chop at a restaurant known for its seafood but do not hesitate to order this dish. It is moist, meaty and very flavorful. Definitely save room for dessert. The ice box lemon pie, profiteroles, bread pudding are all great choices.

   Nice decor and good service. Food did not stack up to the reviews. Shrimp & Grits average. Grits were cold and Shrimp tough. Soft shell crab was ok. Did talk with management and they appreciated the feedback and would work on improving.

   Our waiter Terrence was great. We were there for a business meeting and everything was on point from the food, to the service to the ambience. Always one of my favorites when I visit NOLA.

   Had a wonderful dinner. I had red snapper and my husband had grilled reddish. Both were outstanding! Anthony our server was terrific as well. Definitely will be back!
