   Monarch Rockefeller and the prawn cocktail are my 2 go-to's here. Love them. My bison filet was delicious, side of mushrooms was also fabulous. Dessert was outstanding...chocolate budino or something like that. man was that good.

   I absolutely love Monarch! I was so upset on my anniversary meal , Dover Sole! I know it was October 5th and end season, but if your going to decide to stay ope a week or so after some of the restraunts close, the food needs to be outstanding until the door closes for season . We had some friends that ate there October 6th and they said the exact same thing. I love this restraunt and don’t want it to get a bad name just because of the last week!

   It was my first time dining here and I will be back! Would highly recommend as the must try steak house in Aspen. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was amazing. Trust me adding the butter to your steak is well worth it and the crab mac n' cheese has large pieces of crab. The waitstaff were all friendly and helpful. One of the better dining experiences in Aspen for sure!

   Really great quality steak, very tasty and tender. Great service, great wine and great surroundings. Only problem steak and sides served warm (not hot).

   Great food. Aspen pricy. We had the Caeser salad because of the reviews. It truly is delicious. The steaks were great and we loved our time spent. It was unhurried and that was nice. Great spot for date night.

    The sole was good. My lobster tail was just ok, I’ve had better, not very juicy. The drawn butter seemed a little over cooked, turning brown. The mushrooms were fine, not exceptional. The caeser salad was pretty great, except it had too much garlic which kind of ruined anything that came after that and gave problems all night. It was pretty overpriced. Really? $40 for 2 people just for Caesar salad?
