   I ordered the Diver Scallops which were very good and prepared with a nice grilling. However, the white asparagus and other sides had too strong a taste.

   First visit on Easter Sunday, 5:00pm. Was pleasantly surprised: Loved the equestrian themed decor. Capacity is larger than it appears: seating is also on an upper level via sizable staircase (something to know if mobility is an issue). Generally good experience — food, beverage, ambiance. They only missed the mark on service. Server took an extraordinarily long time before taking our drink order, and then drinks took quite a while to arrive. Appetizer and entrees followed more on schedule. We were nearly finished with our meal when server finally came back to ask if everything was okay with our meal. Perhaps they weren’t staffed up for the holiday? Not sure. All went well except for service. We liked restaurant enough to give it another go…..

   We enjoyed sea scallops, duck breast, glazed pork chop and creme brulee w/meringue topping. Pork chop and accompanying sauce was one of the best I have ever had. Service was excellent. Wine selection was very good, albeit pricey. Ambience and decor are very comfortable. I've been here many times. Standards are consistently top notch. My only recommendation is that management improve the espresso, which was just OK (too weak), certainly not excellent. Overall a great pleasure to dine at Moderne Barn.

   First time back for lunch after several years and it’s better than ever. Prompt attention and no rushing us. We both had salad + protein. Friend had Bibb salad + salmon which was moist and delicious. I had mesclun salad + hangar steak which was perfectly rare. Ideal spot for lunch. All items we saw looked wonderful.

   My husband and I had a wonderful time at Moderne Barn. The ambiance, staff and food were wonderful! We enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu and were not disappointed! The choices were lovely, the food was delicious and the drink and wine service was lovely as well. We look forward to coming back!

   Everything from the appetizer's to the dessert was excellent! We will definitely be returning to try more things!

   Great food, service and place. Been there 3 times and so far every time the food and service has been great. One of my favorite places. I drive half an hour north to enjoy.

   First time in a while that we dined here. We were lured by restaurant week. The meal was delicious! Nonna’s meatballs for appetizers, perfectly prepared salmon, brownie sundae for dessert. Reasonably priced wine list. An attentive server who did not hover. We will definitely be back.

    My second time here for a birthday lunch with my friend. I had to return for the best cheeseburger of my life...and I am not a youngster! Was able to substitute sweet potato fries for the regular in my attempt to be a little healthier. It was very filling, so we didn't have dessert. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich was was very good also. Nice glass of Chardonnay and a cappucino ended the meal. The service was perfect. The space is open with very high ceilings and a modern vibe.
