   We had a reservation for 6:45 pm; we had a brief wait before being seated. We ordered the ahi tuna tartare for an appetizer; it was excellent, beautifully presented. My wife had Petrale Sole and I had King Salmon. It was wonderful!!! They cooked it perfectly, not like so many restaurants who overcook fish. Delicate and tasty to the last bite!!!! We had the Lemon for dessert; well prepared and flavorful. We had a half bottle of a French red wine (St. Emilion) that was very good, though overpriced. Our server was OK, but not as attentive as we would have liked Overall, I recommend MIchael Mina with out reservation.

   This was by far the highlight of the year, perfectly scheduled for our first Christmas celebration away from home. Hostess seated us right away upon check-in; the entire staffs were so attentive and always checking on us. The menu was simple, but our server made it better by explaining the Christmas 5-course menu which we opted for, and glad we did! Everything from the parfait, crusted sole, lobster pot pie, filet mignon & wagyu - full of bold flavors and well presented. Serving was just right. Our goal for 2025 is to visit as many Michael Mina dining room.

   We booked a prix fixe course on Christmas Day to celebrate both my wife’s birthday and the holiday. When making the reservation, I specifically noted that my wife is pregnant and has dietary restrictions. The evening started on a high note, with attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food, as anticipated, was exceptional—until an unfortunate incident overshadowed the experience. When the salad course arrived, we noticed a worm crawling off the edge of my wife’s plate. Understandably alarmed, we brought it to the server’s attention, who promptly removed the plate. Shortly after, we noticed a group of staff huddled near the kitchen, seemingly discussing how such a mishap occurred. Out of concern for my wife’s health, we opted to skip the salad entirely, as we couldn’t risk exposure to anything harmful like listeria. Following this, the service took a noticeable turn for the worse. Our waiter came by only twice during the remainder of the meal, leaving us feeling rushed and overlooked. For a restaurant that once boasted a Michelin star, we expected much better. While the food was undeniably excellent, the service and handling of the situation fell far short of expectations. We reluctantly left a 20% tip, given the holiday, but I left feeling let down by what should have been a memorable celebration.

   Not our first Christmas Eve dinner here since as a Vegas local we have spent several with Michael Mina. The staff always makes you feel special from your first greeting at the door to each and every server trying to make your night the evening that will be a part of your holiday tradition for many to come. The food is delicious with a presentation that is show stopping. No worries on leaving here hungry, the portions and selections will unfortunately not allow you to consume all that is offered.In the coming New Year a reservation here will guarantee you a pleasurable evening.Treat Yourself!

   My second time there and it continues to be my preferred restaurant in Vegas. The appetizers and mains were excellent. The desert could be improved, but I am not a desert person. The service was just excellent!! Prompt, friendly and attentive to details. We had a fantastic Brazilian server.
