   Loved our experience at Messhall. Had dinner before the event we were attending at the greet. The Messhall has great ambience, amazing food and wonderful service! Highly recommend!

   Food was good and it came quickly; we ordered wings (hot honey-- they're not spicy) and a salmon tostada (it's very small). The drinks were also decent; we ordered a gin & tonic and an old fashioned.

   Met friends for brunch on a Saturday. Service was excellent, food was delicious and they didn’t rush us out the door.

   The prices have really gone up here and the quality of the food has gone down a lot . We had the tuna tartar and there was barely any tuna . We also had the shrimp and grits there were 5 shrimp and the grits tasted like and looked like oatmeal . Cocktails were the best thing. But not good enough to Counter balance the crappy food . We will be avoiding this place that was once very good..

   I don't typically leave reviews, but our experience at Messhall Kitchen was incredible! We were on vacay from the East Coast and chose the restaurant based on its proximity to the Griffith Observatory. The service was top-knotch and all 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals (including my picky 6-year-old). I ordered the veggie burger, crispy brussels, and topped it off with the banana cream pudding and an espresso martini - ALL on point! My husband loved his cobb salad and exploring the fun cocktail list. We wish we could bring Messhall Kitchen back home with us!

    This place used to be great but has dramatically gone downhill as well as overpriced as compared to the value
