We had to write for an hour before they took our order, then we had to wait for another hour before the food was served. We had to ask for glasses when the beer was served just in bottles. Silt and pepper containers were empty - had to ask multiple times to fill them.

Maggiano's Short Pump was not good at all. I understand it was Father's Day and things were busy. However, if you don't have enough staff, than manage your reservations and amount of customers to handle it. There was just real basic drop off's at this location that should never happen. Refilling of water glasses is an example. We had to speak to the manager just to get that done. Really ? I am not kidding. There was not one, but three times that this occurred since the meal took two hours plus. On the third empty water glass need, my son just stood up and refilled it himself. This is just basis restaurant stuff 101 and you failed. I did understand that the kitchen was backed up due to the amount of customers. So no comments on the hour it took to get the main entrees. The food was good. However, the ordering of drinks to start the evening took over 15 minutes to arrive. No kidding. It was a huge disappointment for the over 200 dollars that we spent that evening. We got a lot of I am sorry and apologies. Okay that is nice and appreciated. It does not overcome the shortfalls at this establishment. I am not sure I will ever try this location again. Certainly not anytime soon. One star

From start to finish, Maggiano’s at Short Pump was an awful experience. Round tables where we were waiting were filthy/sticky Men’s bathroom had water all over the floor. Took nearly an hour and a half to get our meatball appetizer and side salads. After nearly 2 hours the entrees finally arrived, and we literally had to box it all up and leave after just a few bites to get to the airport. Throughout the whole ordeal the waiter apologized profusely and told us both the manager and GM would come by to talk to us; but no one ever did. Not the Father’s Day experience we were hoping for. A real head scratcher, particularly since our reservation was for just a party of 4 at 3:15 pm. We’ve been going to various Maggiano’s for years, but this was our first visit to this Short Pump location. Simply horrific, and will never, ever go back.

Prior to retirement, I hosted business dinners regularly. Now,….We are twice a year visitors. I love the Super Tuscan and any dish my wife chooses for us to split! The food is always great and abundant.

We haven't eaten here in several years (2019) but had a special occasion so we came back. To start with, our server didn't seem to be in the "mood" to take care of us. Okay, but I have received much better service when it was very busy on the weekends when my latest visit was a Wednesday early evening and we almost had the restaurant to ourselves. Wife ordered Lasagna and I ordered Shrimp Scampi. I will have to say that the Lasagna came out of the kitchen with an excessive amount of sauce on top of it. Kind of like spaghetti but with wide noodles. Nothing like what I see as a serving square of lasagna. Wife said it tasted okay. My Shrimp Scampi could have had more garlic but was okay. The fettuccine underneath the shrimp was good though. Again, though, our server was non-existent. When dessert came around, I ordered Tiramisu and the wife chocolate layer cake. The Tiramisu was excellent and what I had remembered it as. Layer cake was okay but she said it was a little too sweet for her. When the check was presented, I was a little shocked at the price of a six ounce glass of wine. $28.00 for that. I think that was a little over priced even with the current state of the economy being such as it is. Overall this visit was mediocre at best. Not what Maggianos is supposed to be and what I have remembered it to be. Come on y’all. You can better.

We had an incredible experience at Maggianos our server Brad was excellent. He made our daughter’s graduation celebration a very special time for all of us. The food was amazing! We did the family style and it was more food than you could ever possibly eat. We took so many leftovers home!! Thanks so much Brad:)

I gave a lower rating for the value as the prices on the wine and food are too high. The wine is good, but not "high end" Napa/Sonoma quality and should be priced accordingly. The side salad was extremely small and overpriced as well.
