   Excellent experience overall. Rita who met us upon arrival was very hospitable and checked in mid meal to see how we were doing. Piero, our waiter, was helpful with wine selection, as well as the meal. The food came out quickly, hot and well presented. The branzino was outstanding. We had split a special salad that included Buratta cheese. It was very tasty. We sat down at 6. By 7.15 the noise had become quite loud as the seats filled. Shortly thereafter the noise was too loud for those of us who wear hearing aids. Since we had finished our meal and lemoncello, provided by Rita, it was time to go. We will return!

   We dined there last year two nights in a row when in Boston for the Marathon. Having had such a great experience then we returned again during Marathon weekend. Will definitely be back!

   It was pretty good overall- food selection very limited - food could be better - sorry to say/ but nothing special

   Lucca never disappoints! We have been dining here for nearly 20 years but sadly we moved out of the city so only get to dine at the gem once in a while. My family and I are always treated like a rock stars and the food is amazing. You can’t go wrong with any dish, but I always love the pastas. And while you can get pastries along Hanover, Lucca’s desserts are decadent. The only thing I miss are the white table cloths from the earlier years. Other than that, Lucca is exceptional!

   Great food, great atmosphere, the lower dining room is beautiful but, when full, a little noisy. But a great place, and for a smaller party, not going to be a problem! Lucca is a winner!

    The food was good but not exceptional. The bread was not very tasty. Service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Prices were in line with similar restaurants. It was pretty loud.
