The Grouper and short ribs were fabulous. However the martinis are not served in a traditional martini glass but in a coup glass. For a fine dining and very expensive restaurant this is not what I expected.

Lons was wonderful as always. Amazing service and incredible food in an outdoor setting the is truly stunning. Soft jazz (live) in the background enhances the experience. I've never had a bad meal or service here. It is wonderful.

We had a very solid brunch experience at Lon’s! We started with the Smoked Salmon Sliders — three mini sliders on soft burger buns, layered with salmon and cream cheese. They were really yummy and a fun way to kick off the meal. For our mains, I ordered the Short Rib & Potato Casserole, while my partner got the Breakfast Fried Rice. The short rib was rich and flavorful — it’s not often you see short rib on a breakfast menu, and I appreciated how hearty it was. That said, the combination of short rib, potatoes, and eggs felt a little too heavy for me personally, and next time I might opt for something lighter like the Huevos Rancheros or pancakes. My partner loved her fried rice — she said the flavor was great and the portion size was perfect. To drink, I got the Lavender Haze cocktail. It sounded great on the menu with St. Germain and rosemary syrup, but I didn’t really taste either of those notes distinctly. It was a fine cocktail, just not particularly memorable. Overall, Lon’s delivers a really enjoyable brunch in a beautiful setting. The weather was absolutely perfect when we went, and if you get a good weather day too, I highly recommend sitting outside — the patio is gorgeous and adds a lot to the experience. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu!
