Melissa is a tremendous server who knew the menu and made very good suggestions as well as wine pairings. Members of our group ordered the pork ribeye and the prime sirloin. The pork ribeye was fork tender and delicious with the glazed carrots. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and has a very light but flavorful gravy. Each couple shared an artisan salad that had a very light pear vinaigrette dressing. Highly recommend.

Overall I enjoyed the restaurant and my dinner. But the outdoor experience was disappointing, too close to the street and with a bus stop right in front of us! My companions were great sports, but found the noise from the street and too-close passersby off-putting. The indoor dining area, which was fully booked, looked very nice.

Food was good as always. I come here for my birthday. Drinks are amazing, food and ambiance is top tier. Never had a bad experience here. I always recommend.

Riccardo Michi comes from a restaurant Family in Milan established since 1943 called Girarrosto, one of the first Tuscan restaurants in town and still operating.

After moving to the US, Riccardo opened Sonny Bono, IL Giardino Ristorante and Madeo Ristorante in Beverly Hills. In 1987 he helped his cousin Roberto Ruggeri open the first Bice restaurant in New York City. Since then, he has worked in the opening of many of the restaurants in the group. In 2002 Riccardo moved to Chicago with his wife Veronica to be the executive chef of Bice on Ontario.

Finally Riccardo and Veronica, also a chef, decided to open their own place and in 2006 called Riccardo Trattoria. Considered by many to be the top Italian restaurant in town, receiving the Bib Gourmand from Michelin in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Now, Riccardo and Veronica have opened Riccardo Enoteca, right across the street from Riccardo Trattoria on Clark.

Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Farewell to one of the Beach's finest. Wife and I participated in their final night before their 17 July closing. Bittersweet but up to their extremely high standards. Exceptional in all respects. Our server Janelle outdid herself and we expect to see her soon in another top-notch Beach establishment. Hats off to the Chef for his special selections. We have chosen both the Williamsburg and Beach Le Yacas for many of our special occasions and have never been disappointed. Thank goodness that the Williamsburg site remains. Best of luck to the owners on their move to FL.
Le Yaca began in a tiny, country village(Courchevel)in the French Alps in 1964.Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided that it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans they told the hopeful restaurateurs that they were crazy to think that people would drive 8 kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for 3 months and then decided: “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “ il n’y a qu’a le faire” which basically means “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag. But the name caught on with customers, who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms ” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States & opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge; and to top it all off “Alain D
