Absolutely amazing! The service was excellent. The waiter, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional. The ambience was perfect, quiet where you can actually hear the company you are with. The food was outstanding! We had the Miso glazed Sea Bass, fried calamari and key lime pie for dessert. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! The service was excellent. The waiter, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional. Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque.

Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations.

A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. It was around her table that her family learned the true meaning and value of relationships, friendships and good food.

Always a good experience when booking dining room. Made reservations in bar so as to take advantage of Happy Hour drinks and food. When we got there, learned there was a very large party in the bar who was VERY loud. Would have appreciated a "heads up" that a large party was also scheduled to be in bar at that time if the party had made prior reservation. We were seated at bar on opposite side of the loud group but would have preferred one of the booths behind the bar which were all empty. Overall staff was very attentive and I know bars are usually more crowded but at this particular time, the bar was not and a booth in the bar would have been a nice alternative.

Excellent wine menu at all price levels and wonderful service. The charcuterie board was a great starter for the table; carpaccio tender and flavorful. The birthday girl at our table didn't like one of the dishes she ordered (gnocchi with rabbit confit) and the treasure of a waiter comped it! We have and will continue to frequent B19.

This was a first date with a friend from high school after 40 years. The food and service was amazing. Our server, Maddie, was great! Try the Dr. Pepper ice cream with chocolate chips! I don’t even eat ice cream normally but it was great!! We will be back!
