Lovely little gem in Magog. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the decor very modern. It was a bit noisy but to be expected when you have a full house on a a Friday night, which I assume is good thing. We will certainly make a visit there again should we be in the area.

We had a delicious meal in the bright and beautiful Bar Sofia. We came for brunch and it did not disappoint. Our server was really friendly and engaging. She was there when we needed something but didn't hover or hurry us. Cocktails were delicious twists on classics. We had pork belly tacos, mushroom tacos, chips and guac (which was so fresh!!) a fruit plate of watermelon and strawberries and churros with caramel and chocolate for dessert. Amazing experience!

We went to Blu on Avenue Road for our 3rd anniversary dinner and had a quiet romantic table on the ground floor. Staff went out of their way to explain the menu and our choices. It was clear that they were very loyal and loved their jobs and the place. They did give us some quiet time too. Then we were told the restaurant was about to close because of a huge rent increase at their lease renewal. We hope the new location opening on King Street West will come close to the beautiful spacious building on Avenue Road. Even if it does not we will be there because the food and service is so good. We each had an amazing scallop appetizer and we were glad we did not split it and had our own. For main courses the pasta, lamb and beef tenderloin were cooked to perfection. We were too full for ordering dessert but they brought a tiramisu to share and we were able to finish before leaving happy. We can’t wait to return to the new location in May.

Wonderful experience. It was beautiful in the main dining room with the sunset. It was quiet and low lighting. The server was excellent and was able to answer any questions that we had.

I didn’t love that they seated us in the middle of the restaurant when we had a reso, and there were more comfortable spots available, but not a big deal. I noted on the reservation that it was my friends birthday and they brought her a free dessert, which is always appreciated! The server was a lot of fun and even made her an origami rose out of a napkin. Plus overall Excellent service!

Just by a pure coincidence, I booked a table here bc another restaurant was fully booked. WOW, what a find! A Michelin 2024 plaque! The welcome, the service, the quality of the food and not to mention the extensive wine list. Wines that are not available at the LCBO,ended up buying 2 bottles to take home. Celebration for my mother's birthday. Challenging to get to the restaurant for someone with limited mobility but we did it. Food was fresh, staff who serviced gave great descriptions, and libations were premium. Menu isn't deep in breadth but what they serve is excellent. Will return.
