I had the tasting menu which was extremely expensive. The food was very professionally made using a variety of techniques for example, sun chokes served three ways, puréed, baked and crisped. The presentation was impeccable. Most of the food was excellent. I’d say some meals were not balanced and included flavours I did not enjoy. The marshmallow with the candy cap mushroom flavour was not to my taste. My guest ate my portion. The egg dish was superb. All in all it was a great experience. Not sure I had value for the price.

The service was great and the food was ok. If you want the roast duck, be sure to call ahead — it might not be available otherwise. The outdoor covered seating felt a bit messy and blocked the view.

We had a wonderful dinning experience. We ordered the traditional Benny and the French toast. The Benny was absolutely delicious. The French toast was a bit on the sweeter side for our taste but still enjoyable. The service was warm, attentive, and delightfully humorous, which added to the overall charm of our visit. We truly enjoyed our time here!
Fable is the farm to table restaurant in Vancouver. Fable has been wowing guests since 2012. It is fresh food, locally sourced, thoughtfully prepared and served in a lively, comfortable and unpretentious atmosphere, with an amazing cocktail program and great food pairing wines. Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district.
Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus.
A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. The restaurant features two spaces that consist of an open concept kitchen “Chef’s Bar” where one can get up close and personal with the culinary team, a semi private dining room with reclaimed factory windows, and bespoke seating complemented by antique tiling.

My partner and I enjoyed the chefs 7 course tasting menu. It was fantastic. The flavors were simple and fresh but eclectic. The food was well presented and the service was excellent. The portions for 2 were very generous. We both left Torafuku satiated. The decor is contemporary bordering on industrial. The music is at a nice volume allowing for good conversation but maintaining a lively atmosphere. The non-alcoholic drinks pairing was complimentary and very fresh in its flavours. The price point is fantastic especially considering the portions and food quality. I highly recommend Torafuku and will be back again.

Yuwa was delicious!! The quality of the sushi, sashimi, and nigiri were some of the best we have had. The servers were very friendly and attentive and the place had a great atmosphere.

Tojo’s serves the best sushi in all of Vancouver! I brought guests to Tojo’s and everyone was impressed.
