About this restaurant

  • Fancy
  • Neighborhood gem
  • Great for fine wines
If you ask the brilliant minds behind Le Petit Paris, Fanny and David Rolland, They will say “We were born in a restaurant, literally”. From Grandpa to father, the restaurant business has been a natural part of their daily life.

They decided 15 years ago to create their first restaurant in Cannes, Le Petit Paris, Parisian brasserie, located in the middle of the international film festival city.

In order to give the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in Cannes to their international clientele, they decided to run a business on the beach with the combination of well being, relaxed and lay down on the beach with a cocktail and enjoying a gastronomic food.

David and Fanny were always striving to be surrounded by great collaborators in order to provide a real “savoir-faire” to their clients. They have been known worldwide now thanks to their hard work and dedication.

The food was seriously incredible. However the prices were absolutely wild. They really skimped in some areas, for example the Brie appetizer had so much cheese but only a few pieces of bread, not enough for a full party. Bread should be free with the prices. The service was terrible. Our table spent over $800 and I think because gratuity was already included the waitress forgot about us many times. I had to call her over and ask other waiters/staff for help over 10 times. The drinks were sooo slow. I will say the ambiance and building were great, and the food again was seriously so good, smaller portions than most Americans want but I was pleased with the flavors. Seating was nice however the 3 individual round tables for a large party is a bit odd. It was also incredibly warm, many of us were really hot and wish there was some ac running. The music was a tad loud for anyone with sensory issues. Overall though, still happy we went and would go back again, just need to hit the lottery!

Food was mediocre: risotto was sweet & strongly coconut-flavored (although we’d been assured the coconut milk was very subtle); steak (with steak frites) was very tough. Every 10 or 15 minutes there was an annoying, gimmicky “flambé” scene at one of the neighboring tables. Bad choice.

Ambience was somewhat dark for our preference. Food was delicious, we ordered appetizers and entrees with plenty of drinks. Great portions, service was somewhat slow, perhaps understaffed this night. Happy the experience.

Our service was impeccable and gracious. The Egg and Caviar was unique and delicious, the steak tartare was authentic and fresh, and finally the truffle flambé prepared table side and served alongside lobster tails made our night! So rich, must try!

Amazing experience! Great waitress, amazing food, beautiful restaurant. Lobster linguine was delicious. A little more on the pricey side but definitely worth it. The energy is chill, with house music playing. I highly recommend the dinning room. I would recommended it but be ready to pay anywhere from 100 - 150 a person.

I have been here several times. I love the ambiance and the deco design of the building. The food is always good. We always bring guests to share this Los Angeles find. I have to sadly say the last time was not so great. The whole restaurant smelled like bathroom deodorizer even though we sat away from the bathroom. We came for brunch and the place inside was empty except for another table. While the service was friendly, it was very disappointing. Our coffees and latte's sat finished at the bar for a long time even after we asked about them. The server said they were coming. In the end my husband had to go get them and they were all cold. They brought the wrong tea. When they did come with a pot of tea...they reached over the other guests , instead of coming around to the person whom it was meant for, spilling the hot water over the table. Thankfully, missing a human. One food order as also incorrectly done. Perhaps this was just a bad day? Our guests who treated to brunch said they did not want to come back. And neither do we.
