   Went there with a party of 7. Was supposed to be 8, but one person was a no show. We asked to go ahead without him and the servers proceeded to take our orders. Our party started chit chatting and eventually we started noticing that other parties who arrived after us were being served before us. We didn't say anything right away, but we were getting hungry esp realizing that it's already been an hour. We asked when will we start and get our salad? The servers were surprised! Oh, we weren't waiting for #8?? We said no, that's why we had placed our orders. Okay, food finally started coming (BTW, they never asked how were doing nor refilled our drinks nor took old or unused glasses away) We were all pretty starving by then. When I would raise my hand to call a server over, the server would see me and walk to me, but then "squirrel" and the person at the next table gets her attention and she goes over to her, but not back to me. The main entree arrives and again, we're starving by then and then our lobster tail comes. They just place it near you where you don't know who's is who's. Anyway, my lobster tail is just as soft and mushy as my mash potatoes. I call someone over and then they had to ask someone else what should he do about it. I obviously did not eat it. I would hate to have the runs all night or be barfing. Altho great if I was going to lose weight. Finally, he gets the "approval" to give me a replacement. It was better. Still waiting for our beverage refills. By now, all the other parties that sat after us were done and had left. Finally, the check comes and it's incorrect. They charged someone for an upgrade when they didn't order an upgrade. They also told us that it was an automatic 20% gratuity, which wasn't fair for such lousy service (still didn't get refills nor asked how we’re doing)

   It was a pleasure to visit Lawry's the Prime Rib for the first time in at least 20 years. We took advantage of the DineLA menu -- ordering three Beef and one Salmon entrees, plus salads and 4 oz. lobster tails. And two shared bonus ice cream sundae desserts. All of it was of very good quality, although, to nit-pick a bit, the must-have Yorkshire pudding was slightly overdone. The server was professional and personable. We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind for special occasions going forward.

   This was the second time Lawry’s shorted the portions on our prime rib. It’s clearly how they do business now and not just an accident. When you chose your portion size and on twodifferent occasions the three diners all wind up with the smallest cut of prime rib, even if only one diner ordered the small and the other two ordered the second to the largest portion. As I said, this has happened on two separate occasions at Lawry’s. They cheat their customers and if they get away with it. We told the manager and they gave us another small slice, but the dining experience is wrong - so wrong. And so many people are from out of town and don’t know better. Not us, we live here and DO know better. It’s REALLY CLEAR WHAT THEY ARE DOING!0 Also- they don’t serve unknowing dinners the cherry tomatoes in your salad unless you’re smart enough to ask. Who are they kidding! ANOTHER LAWRYS RIP OFF for their customers! They should be ashamed. Also, the Yorkshire Pudding was literally dripping in grease. Never have I seen it soaking in oil. Uneatable. A sloppy mess. We’ve been coming to Lawrys for decades, but they have really turned us off after this upsetting experience. No more!

   Food was unremarkable. I have been going to Lawry’s for more than 30 years and, over the last couple of years, food quality has deteriorated significantly. Also, in spite of making a reservation and arriving on time, we still had to wait nearly one hour to be seated. Sadly, I doubt that I will return

   I have dined at Lawry’s many times over 30 years. This was a very disappointing experience. I felt like I was in a cafeteria, service was rushed and food (other than the prime rib) was just so so! The lobster tail was dry and salty! The famous spinning salad was full of lettuce with brown edges. That seems impossible given the amount of this salad that they are serving. My husband had the classic cut from the main menu $64…he was never offered sides…he got mashed potatoes only. I got the Dine LA menu filet and lobster $84. I was never offered a drink so I settled for water because the waiter was rushed. My husband was excited to see an old school dessert of baked Alaska on the menu, it took a while but he got it for old times sake $25. The waitress, Nancy, was rushed too but was nicer and more caring. Anyway, $194.91 later we were done with Lawry’s. I’ll give myself a break from them for a long while. Oh, the noise level was unbearable. This is no longer fine dining, BTW, they require you secure the reservation with a $25 per person upfront charge which is later credited to the bill. It’s a new world!

   Took my family because my kids wanted to eat here to celebrate the last day of school. Food is always excellent. Everything was delicious. They were very accomodating to my husbands dietary restrictions and the waitress was very kind. Love it here and always enjoy coming back.

    Dea our server was so awesome. Had the French onion soup. Perfect not too salty compared to othersI have tried. All the plates were hot so the food was perfect today. California cut and English cut was perfect.Cream of corn and cream of spinach, always so good. ordered the smoked old fashion. Cool but had to try. Been awhile but Lawry’s is such a great go to restaurant for some prime rib made with tradition.
