Restaurants near Woodley Park Guest House

Second time we have had Easter brunch here. Beautiful setting. Wonderful food. Lots of variety. Stations are spread out so you don’t feel you’re at a cafeteria. Not cheap. But truly excellent. Class all the way.

I visited on a warm Saturday around noon, and as expected, parking was a challenge. I was also in a bit of a rush due to another appointment, but I really appreciated the calm ambiance and cozy atmosphere inside. It did get a little busier shortly after I sat down, which may have contributed to a bit of a delay—my drink arrived halfway through my meal. That said, it was delicious and worth the wait. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was the main reason I chose to come here, and it didn’t disappoint. The portion size was decent, and I thought it was well-prepared. The staff was friendly and apologetic about the delay, which I appreciated.

The food was phenomenal, per usual! We had a lovely dining experience. The lamb chops were seared to med rare perfection and the flavor was bold, garlicky, with a hint of sweetness. So delicious! The chargrilled oysters are a fav! So much flavor! The ribeye was huge and cooked well with delicious flavor. The Vegan jerk tacos, the buffalo shrimp, the branzino… the branzino was whole and buttery pieces of flavor melted in our mouths. The ambiance was smooth jazz on a Friday night. We will forever come back!

Went here for the first time in years with my parents and 4 year old. They were great with my kid, accommodated my parent's dietary restrictions, and the food was better than I remembered it being ten years ago. I certainly won't wait another ten years before returning!
