Sète (named after the coastal town in France) is a wine bar, shop, and kitchen. Our doors opened to the wine bar in October 2022 and the restaurant and garden in July 2023. The seasonal menu focuses on modern European cooking with a heavy French influence, highlighting the best produce Kent has to offer. Wine is certainly at the heart of what we love. With an ever evolving list that highlights old world classics, accessible natural wines, female winemakers and exciting next generation vintners. We also serve a seasonally changing list of wine on tap and host private tastings. Behind Sète is Natalia Ribbe who has worked across restaurants in Vienna, NYC and London, as well as the founder of the female collective; L.O.R. Situated in the heart of Broadstairs, we aim to use the best local produce available to bring you simply cooked, tasty food. We are fortunate to have a ready supply of locally caught fish as well as the finest meat available in Thanet through our association with Chef & Butcher. All of our steaks are cooked over charcoal giving them a unique smokey flavour. The Pickled Herring is owned by local residents and open all year round. Our menus change with the seasons and our courtyard garden is open for drinks and lunch throughout the warmer months.
