Restaurants near Village at Sandhill Mall

Per our previous first visit and review, we'd be back. Here we are! This is our follow-up visit and subsequent review. This "train station stop" is so beautiful and well done. The food, staff and service are tops. I've traveled much in my day for both pleasure and work, and this establishment earns high marks. I also managed a restaurant back in the 80's (for successful finicky owners) and have an eye for detail and California Dreaming runs a tight ship. They are both clean and organized. My wife and I plan to dine here on future trips south. You folks rock!

I went for a birthday dinner with friends. This was our first time. We loved it! Great service and great food. I will be back.

I ordered as to-go, so my review is from that perspective. I ordered the ribeye (wasn't a thick cut) collards and sweet potato fries. I requested medium well, but I feel it cas cooked well. They packed my fries with the collards and meat in the same tray, which resulted in my fries being soggy. The egg rolls were tasty, but they too were a bit soggy and greasy. My husband really enjoyed the shrimp and grits.

Receive a good portion of food for the price. Cooks are so energetic and friendly.
