Fatto a Mano Pizzeria serves authentic Neapolitan pizza & independent craft beers alongside sides and desserts. Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we're able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Our commitment is to quality, and we use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas.Beers on tap include our own Fatto Bionda Helles Lager and Joosy Hazy Pale from Brighton’s UnBarred, and The Kernel’s Table Beer. We work with small producers as long term partners, including Fior Di Latte Mozzarella sourced from Caserta, Campania and wines imported directly from private Italian growers. The pizzeria menu features classics such as Margherita, salsiccia e friarielli, diavola and Fatto a Mano's scugnizielli dessert, whilst also featuring modern additions including lasagna pizza, homemade arancini and our own vegan 'nduja pizza.

The Hemingway is a good quality pub that serves delicious no-nonsense grub.You can see every dish being made to order in our open plan kitchen- no soggy microwaved frozen meals here! We take great care in sourcing our produce direct from the best suppliers both locally and abroad. Our menu is a mix of classic crowd pleasers and regularly changing seasonal dishes, which means you'll always find something to tempt your taste buds (even if you're in every day!).We are a pub, not a cocktail bar and while we make a blinding Bloody Mary, and will happily mix you an Aperol Spritz or Negroni, we don't do Pina Coladas. The name Ombra literally means ‘shadow’, in Venetian dialect it’s the familiar term for a small glass of wine, which originates from the traditional wine sellers retreating to the shade of St. Mark's Tower to shield the wines from the hot sun.     What a good choice for an alternative Easter Sunday brunch. We had delicious 'full engish' brunch, very filling mushroom and spinach omelette and berry and cream brioche. Definitely going back, the evening menu looks amazing

    We booked a table for four last minute. We were seated quickly and staff were attentive. The food was delivered very quickly and the portion sizes were very generous. Kids under 11 eat free when parents order a pizza so we found it to be very reasonable price-wise. There is a lovely outside area too with a heater so eating al fresco is a choice. There are trains going overhead so it was a little loud, but we could still hear everyone on our table. It is located near the Young V&A and the tube station so very convenient for tourists and little legs!

    Really great place, lovely lovely staff. The cocktails are inventive and good value and the food delicious. Not cheap, but that's the world these days. Seven stars out of five. Yeah, it's breaking the boundaries of maths.
