Just completing its second year on the dining scene in Telluride, Kazahana offers classic Japanese cuisine prepared by Chef Naoki Takahashi and his team. Great service. We were happy to leave 25% tip. I would have left more if I was a wealthy person. The food was phenomenal, the vibe was cool, the server was super friendly and was able to spend a little more time with us to answer our questions and entertain out curiosity regarding food questions and other items. Off season in the mountains. The locals were out. A lot of the staff engaged with us, not just our server. We felt welcomed and were honored to eat here. Highly recommended everything especially the dessert box.
