Always excellent combination of food, atmosphere and service, with the friendly and knowledgeable staff a particular highlight.

Had a roast dinner and it was delicious, home cooked goodness and plenty of it! Service was great too!

We all really enjoyed our meals. There were 4 of us and we all had roasts 3 for the chicken and one for lamb. One of us did think she had a potato which was a little hard, but everyone else said everything was really nice. I had the roasts and mine were all very nice and well cooked. They ran out of apple crumble but they apologised as they remembered from last November that it was my favourite. I was pleased that they remembered me. I had sticky toffee pudding instead with custard which was lovely. There was another in the group who had sticky toffee pudding and said she enjoyed it. The other two in the party had the belgian waffles, again they were nicely served and presented. Overall all 4 of us enjoyed our meal and said we would go back again.
