We throughly enjoyed our experience at Fire Steakhouse yesterday. Our waitress Jazz was amazing and knowledgeable on the food and drink menu. We were surprised with a slice of cake and card from the crew as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Everyone was friendly and attentive it's hard to find great service like this, so this was a pleasure to have during our dinner. About the food... Everything came out hot that should have been and we didn't have to wait long. Our salads were very fresh and fulfilling (Ceasar and Mixed green salads) Our entrees were fine in regards to flavor and portion size. Flavor/taste for us was nothing for either of us to rave over (2 steaks, garlic mash potatoes, and salted crusted bake potato). I did have the raspberry lemon drop which came recommended and the taste was exactly what I wanted with flavor and alcohol content. The bartender hot the drinks very well. Overall there's nothing to complain about our experience was wonderful from beginning to end, the drinks were great, and the food was fine. We would come back.

The food & the service are great; it's the prices I struggle with. Granted, you get enough food to take home another meal's worth, but many other places are like that as well. I got the most expensive meal on the entree list, which was $67...yikes! Again, great & ample food, but overpriced, hence our only going there every now & then. Too many other great places to choose from to pay that much at Oak Tavern. I want to reiterate that the service is & has always been absolutely outstanding.
