Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Ling Ling is a must stop for us every time we are in town. Their attentiveness is top notch and the menu changes enough each year to keep it interesting. The flavors are outstanding as are the views of this incredible city. We will be back again soon.

The restaurant space is lovely, set above the street with a view of the treetops. The food was perfect, the green avocado salad was bright and the red chile salsa has a deep roasted flavor. The Tina tostada was perfect, the warm tuna belly with vinaigrette was also perfect and you guessed it, the pescado a la plancha was prepared half red and half green seasoning and perfect! They had an extensive wine selection and were able to accommodate food allergies with ease.
