Food and service was very good. Very noisy though.

We had such a great time at Xiao Ye. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel right at home—super friendly and genuinely attentive in a way that made the whole night feel easy and fun. We tried a bunch of dishes and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. The pasta was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the drink list was thoughtful and full of gems, and those madeleines? Next level. Warm, soft, golden-edged perfection. Also, don’t sleep on the Broccoli Caesar—it’s not your average Caesar salad. It’s crunchy, bold, and totally unexpected in the best way. Xiao Ye feels like the kind of neighborhood gem you want to tell all your friends about, while also setting the bar for what modern Portland dining can be. Can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed the Rice Table experience. There were four of us and there was plenty of food - we even took some home. The flavors are amazing and the craftsmanship of the food is impeccable. Drinks were delicious and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The dining room is a bit noisy, but the food and beautiful ambiance help it fade. We look forward to going back.
